From camp speaker to local youth pastor to youth ministry professor, Sid Koop draws from a deep well of experience over a couple decades. He is the Executive Director of Youth Worker Community where he and his team are dedicated to filling in the gaps for youth workers by equipping, empowering, and supporting youth workers to help the next generation know Jesus.
Sid has a Masters in Youth and Family Ministries and is currently working on his Doctor of Ministry in Emerging Generations at Gordon-Conwell Seminary.Topic: Wise Parenting in a Digital World
Our kids are growing up in a categorically different world than the one we experienced as children. We had digital technology in our world….they live in a world of digital technology. For some of us, we remember a time before a “personal computer”. Almost all of them have computers in their pockets that are becoming more and more personal. This seminar will help us think through practical ways we can parent our kids to follow Jesus in this digital world.Cost – Free
